I enjoyed this class and I think it is much easier to learn when someone is showing you, explaining what camera settings do etc. I enjoyed the discussion in the Cafe too - it gave me quite a few ideas and insights.

I?ve been on a few of David?s courses and not only thoroughly enjoyed them but really improved my photography skills and have some pictures I?m proud of to show for it. With his art and teaching background, David takes time to plan and seek out good locations and opportunities and is then very willingly on-hand to give tips and answer technical queries. I?d class myself slightly beyond beginner but the sessions are suitable for all, whatever your background and expertise of photography. He?s not only taught me the technical aspects of taking photos but more importantly how to think and spot and compose a good, non-boring photo!

Although it was billed as Iconic Sheffield architecture we focused (ha ha no pun intended) on some of the modern architecture in the University area, which was a new discovery for me. Aboslutely amazing architecture and although it was billed as a meet-up rather than a teaching session David gave us and me in particular lots of tips and great advice for getting better shots, getting out of Auto setting and best viewpoints. He was so kind and helpful. So in summary a fantastic few hours and great value for money and I'll look out for other sessions with David
